Using this Data Hub
To explore data for the first time, you will need to register here (or click the 'Register' link, top right) using a verifiable email address. You can use the same user name to log in on future visits.
Using the search bar, look up 'user guide' to view more detailed instructions and guidance on accessing, previewing and downloading data.
The 3D data hub is a platform for accessing a range of data sets intended to help Birmingham reach carbon zero as soon as possible. Data covers areas such as demography, socio-economic status and health, solar PV potential, housing energy efficiency and retrofit options, district heating system mapping, EV charging points, transport and emissions.
Data has been made available in a range of different file types for you to download. These include CSV, XLSX, GPCK, GeoJSON and PDF files. Many of these files can also be previewed within this platform, for example as graphs and maps.
You can find data by using the search function, by browsing through the 'Data categories', or by clicking 'Datasets' and using the filters that pop up on the side of your screen. Click on a data set you are interested to see a list of data files. Click the 'Explore' button to preview or download.
Scheduled maintenance will normally take place on a Wednesday lunchtime (12:00 - 14:00). If you have problems accessing the hub at this time please come back and try again later.
Do get in touch with us by emailing 3d@cse.org.uk if you:
- Would like additional data to be made available through the data hub.
